The Astro Bossa Nova’s came to be when I had the idea that I wanted to paint the face of a screaming boy. Not screaming in agony or pain, but a scream, like a yell or a pain in the ass kind of kid scream, then I though it would be a lot of fun to have this boy stuck in a red drum. I searched around and  found a face I liked and then I found a drum I liked as well. I printed several copies of the head and drum out, then I cut them out and then pasted them together in different spots on the paper. I then began to draw all over the face and drum, connecting them with different bodies, clothes and backgrounds. eventually there will be 8 or 10 of them, as i finish them i’ll continue too add them on the site. i’ve also included the original sketches and photos of the paintings in stages of completion.
